Praises military apouses for their services to the country.
The United Service Organization Spouse Connection, a nonprofit organization, hosted an event at Fort Carson military base near Colorado Springs Thursday evening to honor military spouses. First Lady Jill Biden spoke at the event, and went around the event to speak one-on-one with the attendees of the event.
“Thank you for your service. Thank you for all that you’ve done for our nation. And for me as well, as a military mom and a military daughter,” the first lady said. “We need to do more. Your service to this country has earned nothing less. Giving you the support you need to thrive, matters to me and to the president.”
